MECC began in 1995 as a Bible study for people seeking answers about God. (Does He really exist? What is He like? Does He intervene today?) This study of the Bible was led by Pastor Rich Tuttle. Rich served for fourteen years in a church in the Chicagoland area as Minister to Youth before moving to Atlanta in 1989 where he served as a Co-Pastor. God led Rich and Kathy to begin a church in the Lilburn/Stone Mountain area to reach out to people who do not know God or who were led to believe false things about him and/or Christianity. We at MECC believe that all people matter to God, so they matter to us. For those who are already followers of Christ, we welcome you to join with us on the journey of worshipping and loving God as well as loving others with Christ's love.
